It starts the vacuum automatically when you press the start button on the connected power-tool. It works with any brand of tool up to 1,700W in power. *(1700 Watt limit/ 230v.)

Compatibility
The Power Take Off feature (auto-start) of the R15VAC is limited to 1,700W. As such the R15VAC is not suitable for powering the RAGE5-S or Fury5-S Table Saws, or the R255SMS and R255SMS-DB Mitre Saws
