Using extractors with power tools greatly improves workshop air quality and the performance of the tool by removing dust and debris from the point of contact with the workpiece. As there is no industry standard for power tool extraction ports, it proves very difficult to connect dust hose to varying tools, up until now.

This new kit is supplied 3 metres of 32mm outside diameter, flexi-hose which is abrasion, puncture and kink resistant. The two threaded ports that screw on to the flexi-hose are made from a flexible rubber that is tapered to fit most power tool and bench top machine dust ports. The smaller rubber port has an outside diameter of 30mm and an internal diameter of 25mm and the larger rubber port has a 45mm outside diameter and a 37mm inside diameter.

For connection to the extractor or vacuum two further ports, made from an impact resistant thermoplastic polymer are supplied with the kit. One port is 55mm outside diameter stepped to 35mm outside diameter and the other is 63mm outside diameter stepped to 35mm outside diameter. This kit will greatly improve the air quality and performance of power tools and bench top machines when sanding, routing, sawing and planing. ©
